Global Grid Forum 6 (Chicago) Sessions

Two working sessions were held on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at the GGF6 conference in Chicago, Illinois. 23 participants attended each of the two sessions, 15 of whom attended both sessions.

Action Items:

  1. Attendees: If you haven't already done so, please subscribe to the mailing list (instructions shown above).
  2. All: Review the charter again, and post any questions/comments to the chairs and/or the mailing list.
  3. All: Due November 15, 2002: Send examples of your application checkpoint receovery needs/requirements/desires to the mailing list.
  4. Chairs: Due November 15, 2002: The GridCPR Working Group chairs will draft an informational document (GFD-I) to describe, given the input provided at the sessions and via the mailing list, the specific scope of a GridCPR API and associated GridCPR services. This document will be revised via mailing list comment, and submitted to the GFD editor for publication prior to GGF7.
  5. Chairs: Due February 1, 2003: Agenda for GGF7 meeting (Tokyo) proposed and sent to mailing list for review.
  6. Chairs: Push for GGF Steering Committee (GFSG) acceptance of GridCPR Working Group charter prior to GGF7.
